IMPORTANT NOTICE: It has been a great pleasure serving you over these past years. We always strive to provide you with our highest quality service, and competitive rates. This will not change. The rising cost of doing business always takes its toll on a company. We are no exception to that rule. For this reason, there is going to be some adjustments in the monthly subscription for our Stolen Asset Recovery product as of the 1st of March 2013. Please see below for the updated pricing.

It has been 4 years without any adjustment to our monthly subscriptions; hence this increase reflects less than a 3.5 % rise per annum since 2009. We value you as a client and want to continue serving you to the best of our ability. If you have questions or concerns about this price adjustment, please feel free to contact our Sales Department.

TOYOTA LANDCRUISER RECOVERED WITH SWAZILAND REGISTRATION PLATES:

A Toyota Land Cruiser, stolen in Ixopo, was recovered by Tracetec Recovery Agents at a butchery in Hluhluwe in KZN.

The vehicle had no visible damage, however the VIN number had been tampered with, and the registration plates changed. The suspect was arrested and was found to be in possession of R20 000 cash and 2 additional license disks, unable to explain how he acquired them.

He confirmed that he had bought the vehicle the previous week in Swaziland, before demanding his lawyer be present during questioning. Further investigations by the SAPS found that the 2 license disks were for vehicles positively identified as stolen in South Africa. Interpol and the Hawks have taken over the investigation.

MINI CLUBMAN RECOVERED OUTSIDE A BOTTLE STORE!

A Mini Clubman was taken during a house robbery early in December last year in Bryanston Johannesburg. For a few days the vehicle remained stationary, when it finally did move our recovery agents picked up a signal in the Alexandra and Bramley area.

With each attempt of a successful recovery the perpetrators managed to blindside our recovery agents and SAPS. After five days of considerable effort and investigations, our recovery agents with the assistance of the SAPS Flying Squad recovered the vehicle at a bottle store in Lombardy West. The vehicle was found with no visible damage to it.

Two suspects were arrested and one suspect, upon questioning, claimed that she had purchased the vehicle from her uncle in Tembisa, however she was unable to provide us with an address of the said uncle.
