TOYOTA COROLLA

 

A Toyota Corolla Sprinter was reported stolen from Mayfair, Johannesburg, by a Tracetec client. The Tracetec Control Centre tagged the vehicle on the M2 and the SAPS were alerted. As luck would have it a Police Officer, Captain Swanepoel (Langlaagte Dog Unit), reported that he was driving behind the stolen vehicle. He pulled the vehicle off the road on the Denver Road offramp and was joined by the Tracetec recovery team. One arrest was made.

This story serves as an excellent example of how our association with the SAPS enables the speedy recovery of stolen assets and affects arrests.
