NISSAN 1400 RECOVERED FOLLOWING HOUSE ROBBERY

 

A Nissan 1400 was stolen during a house robbery in Austin View, Midrand, on Tuesday, 15 February 2011. On 16 February the vehicle’s tracking signal was picked up in Marlboro North. A Tracetec Recovery Team was dispatched immediately to the area. At 16h28 that day a Recovery Agent found the stolen vehicle in a yard in Alexandra. The license plates had been changed, but the 2009 license disc was still in the windscreen with the original registration number. The SAPS was called in and took over the scene at 18h00. The vehicle was recovered and no arrests were made.
