JEEP CHEROKEE STOLEN FROM CLIENT'S HOME IN SEA POINT

 

The vehicle was stolen at Sea Point from a Client’s home Wednesday morning. Tracetec Recovery Team was tracking the vehicle towards Mossal bay. The Tracetec National Control Centre was liaising with the Recovery Officer between Swellendam and Mossalbay.

The suspect decided to stop in Heidelberg where he attempted to sell our Clients cellphone to a SAPS Officer for fuel money. This happened while Tracetec was communicating with the SAPS Officer’s notifying them that the vehicle will be in Heidelberg shortly.

To our knowledge the suspect was very surprised when the SAPS Officer wanted the cellphone, car and him without paying. The suspect was then taken to Heidelberg Police Station.
